The aim of the course is to teach students the basic aspects of the banking system functioning and to prepare them for possible acting in the banking. The student acquires knowledge of the conditions of establishment and operation of banks and the banking system, of banking operations and risks, as well as of selected problems in European and offshore banking. The successful preparation of semester work as a condition to complete the course requires a personal visit to the banking institutions which aims to practical verification of new knowledge.

The aim of the subject is to enable students to acquire practical skills and experience in business operation and the operation of management systems in practice.
According to the focus of the thesis and practice.
Students will participate in practice during the term of the selected company, which has practical skills or contacts from direct involvement. Length of experience is at least three weeks with four hours per day. Verify the application of methods of strategic, marketing, organizational, personnel, financial, project management and observes operation of information systems and logistics business. Students end the course with essay, which describes their experience of practice and make proposals to improve business processes in terms of their knowledge in management and economics.
