The (combined) Bachelor´s Degree Study Programme in Teaching of History is an integral part of the Teacher Training and Education Science course.

The study programme provides the undergraduate (Bachelor´s) degree required for the theory and practice of pedagogy. It is designed to provide an adequate professional knowledge of universal history, the history of Hungary, the history of Slovakia, the auxiliary sciences of history, didactics, and other complementary disciplines. The study programme contains a brief annotation of each subject, the number of lectures and credits, the prerequisite subjects, and the assessment criteria. The study plan is part of the accreditation dossier. The description of the subjects and the compulsory literature are included in the information sheets for compulsory and compulsory optional subjects.

The structure of the study programme is in accordance with the relevant regulations.

Based on the JSU Constitution, members of the academic community have the right to address proposals, comments, and complaints to the bodies of academic self-government—the procedures and rules of which are defined in their legislative documents. Students are represented in the bodies of self-government and in the advisory bodies of the faculty, the details of the participation of student representatives are discussed in their constitutions or rules of procedure. Those enrolled in the study programme have at their disposal effective mechanisms for the review of complaints by which they demand the protection of their rights or legally protected interests that they consider to have been infringed or by which they point to specific shortcomings in the activity or inactivity of the institution.
